This Privacy Policy explains how Artivo ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the FoodMate mobile application and website (the "Service"), a food ordering and delivery platform operating in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. By using FoodMate, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password or the sign-in method you choose.
Sign-in providers: if you log in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive basic profile details (such as name and email) from that provider.
Delivery and location data: delivery addresses you save, and your approximate or precise device location (with your permission) to show nearby restaurants, calculate delivery areas, and support delivery.
Orders and transactions: items ordered, order notes, restaurant details, totals, and order history.
Payment information: your selected payment method (cash on delivery, in-app wallet, or digital payment). Online payments are processed through a secure payment page and/or third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card or bank details within the app.
Messages and support: in-app chat with restaurants, delivery partners, or support, including any images or files you attach.
User-generated content: reviews, ratings, profile photos, and similar content you submit.
Voice input: if you use voice search, your microphone is used to convert speech to text for searching.
Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, app interactions, in-app search history, and identifiers such as push notification tokens used for app functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
To process orders, payments, delivery, and refunds.
To show nearby restaurants and relevant content based on your location.
To send order updates and service notifications, and (where you agree) promotional messages.
To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
To improve and operate the Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as needed to provide the Service or as required by law, including with:
Restaurants and delivery partners involved in fulfilling your order.
Payment service providers to process payments.
Service providers that support our app, such as hosting, mapping (Google Maps), and push notification/messaging services (Firebase).
Authorities where required by applicable law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information.

4. Push Notifications

We send notifications about your orders and the Service. You can disable non-essential notifications in your device settings.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Certain records (such as order and transaction history) may be retained for longer where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account directly in the app under Profile > Delete Account. You may be asked to complete any ongoing or accepted orders before deletion. When your account is deleted, your associated personal data is removed from active use, except for information we must retain for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. You may also contact us at mailtoisrar1@gmail.com to request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Children's Privacy

FoodMate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services that have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of those third parties.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, through in-app notice.
